Ninalys Whisky vieilli en fût de Chardonnay is a consummate example of the house style, the ideal starting point for discovering French-style single malts. It’s a suave reflection of its origins, mirroring where it comes from through the grains and the wine casks that were selected to distill and age it. The single malt is made from 100 % malted barley, a portion of which is peated. The new make obtained after a double distillation in our Charentais stills is then aged in toasted French oak barrels, as well as barrels used for French Chardonnay. It will mature for more than 3 years, before being blended and slowly reduced in fresh Tarare water until it reaches 46 % ABV.
